Children's Medical Center at Legacy

Nurses saw another opportunity for professional growth during 2008 with the opening of Children's Medical Center at Legacy in Plano. The facility is the only academic healthcare system in the region focused solely on pediatrics.

Children's at Legacy comprises a 120,000-square-foot Ambulatory Care Pavilion and a 36-bed hospital, four state-of-the-art operating rooms and emergency services that function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Leadership team

The Children's at Legacy leadership team reports to Mary Stowe, vice president and chief nursing officer for all of Children's. Additionally, Children's at Legacy has a shared governance council structure that reports directly up to Mary Stowe, RN, MS, NEA-BC, vice president and chief nursing officer.
