Children's at Legacy wins Mom's Voice! Award
Local moms rate medical center tops as a family-focused business
Children’s Medical Center at Legacy won the “Best Hospital/Medical Facility” category for Collin County in the Fall 2009 Mom’s Voice! Awards.
The Mom’s Voice! Awards began this year as an effort by the creators of momsoutloud.com to recognize the best family-focused businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The fall edition specifically recognized businesses in Dallas and Collin Counties. Winners were determined by votes and reviews submitted through momsoutloud.com.
Each of the reviews for Children’s at Legacy gave the Plano hospital the highest possible rating. A portion of one read: “Every person in the entire building, from the girl at the check in desk to the doctors and nursing staff was friendly, sympathetic, helpful, and caring.”
Children’s at Legacy has fulfilled its mission to provide world-class care for families north of Dallas and beyond since opening in August 2008. The medical staff includes specialists from UT Southwestern, providing a vast base of talent and knowledge. Located at 7601 Preston Road in Plano, the campus sits on a 155-acre site with “green space” preserved to provide an environment of healing and tranquility for patients and families.
