Pediatric and Perinatal Pathology-Review and Update

Purpose and Content
This one day conference will highlight common entities in pediatric and perinatal pathology, with focus on both common and unusual presentations. There will be a variety of pediatric pathology subspecialties represented, including general surgical pathology, perinatal pathology, as well as renal, cardiac, and neuropathology. Topics from the clinical laboratory will also be covered, including hemoglobinopathies and metabolic disorders. Our conference will feature lectures as well as an interactive slide review session with faculty from the Division of Pediatric Pathology.
Course Objectives
2. Update on ancillary studies in pediatric anatomic and clinical pathology
3. Discuss appropriate triaging of pediatric and perinatal specimens
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for practicing pathologists, pathology residents and fellows.
Accreditation
Children's Medical Center is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation
Children's Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Each speaker has completed and signed a conflict of interest statement. This will be disclosed at the beginning of each presentation.

The registration fee entitles the participant admission to the conference, all course materials, and a lunch.

Returned Check Policy
