Dr. Alina Olteanu, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.P.
Background: Born and raised in Romania.
Education: Completed a residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine in Romania and a PhD in biological chemistry at the University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Currently doing a long-distance fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr Andrew Weil.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Worked as an assistant professor of Pediatrics at Tulane School of Medicine, in New Orleans, LA, and was the medical director of a mobile unit program. Worked as a Pediatric AIDS Corps physician in Lesotho, Africa.
