Kidney Transplant: Why Children's
Surgeons with the Kidney Transplant Program at Children's have performed more than 350 pediatric kidney transplants since the program started in 1979.
Program services include:
- Evaluation of potential transplant candidates
- Evaluation of potential living donors
- Transplantation of a deceased donor or living donor kidney
- Continued care and management of transplant recipients
