Dr. Snodgrass is a respected leader in pediatric urology and is internationally renowned for the Tubularized Incised Plate (TIP) operation, which most surgeons refer to as the “Snodgrass Repair.” First described by Dr. Snodgrass in 1994, TIP is now the most commonly used method to correct hypospadias in the world. His success rate with TIP has been 95 percent. No active surgeon has published more articles on hypospadias surgery (PDF) than Dr. Snodgrass, and no other method to correct hypospadias has been the subject of more publications than TIP.

Surgeons travel from around the world to observe Dr. Snodgrass performing hypospadias surgery at Children’s. He also has operated or lectured in more than 20 countries throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
