Our Surgical Services departments provides comprehensive surgical care from newborns to adolescents, making Children’s Health℠ one of the largest providers of pediatric surgery in the North Texas region.
The surgical team at Children's Health℠ diagnoses, consults, treats and provides follow-up care 24 hours a day. We are committed to finding the best way to treat our patients before, during and after surgery. Children’s Medical Center Dallas is a Level I designated hospital by the American College of Surgeons Children’s Surgery Verification™ Quality Improvement Program, making us among five hospitals in Texas and one of 53 in the country to receive this verification, which is the highest level of distinction that a pediatric hospital can receive. Children’s Medical Center Plano is a Level II designated hospital and is the only Level II children's surgery center in Texas. Children’s Health is the first and only pediatric health system nationwide to achieve Level I and II designations at multiple sites.
