Biography
Andrew G. Lashus, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children’s Health℠ specializing in pediatric cardiology. He is particularly interested in congenital structural heart defects and electrical problems of the heart, including arrhythmias.
Combining this field of medical practice with my love for working with kids and their families makes pediatric cardiology a perfect fit for me.
Dr. Lashus received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Lashus went on to earn a pediatric cardiology interventional catheterization fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
From an early age, Dr. Lashus has been interested in the heart and abnormalities of the heart. “Combining this field of medical practice with my love for working with kids and their families makes pediatric cardiology a perfect fit for me.” Dr. Lashus believes that treating every child as if he was treating one of his own is important and “will never settle for anything less than the best care.”
