Biography
Before joining Children's Health℠, Dr. Veena Rajaram spent eight years as a Professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and worked as a staff pathologist at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital (Children’s Memorial Hospital) in Chicago, practicing pediatric and neuropathology with a primary focus on pediatric neuropathology.
Dr. Rajaram’s research interests include malformations of the central nervous system and embryonal and pediatric brain tumors. She has given numerous presentations and contributed to more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and scores of abstracts in her areas of expertise.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Rajaram enjoys reading books of all kinds, watching movies, traveling, and playing the veena, a string instrument that originated in India.
