Who can receive services through virtual visit?
Anyone can be seen through Virtual Visit. A parent or legal guardian must be present for someone under 18 to be seen.

Why should I use it?
We understand it can be difficult to see your health care provider quickly, and it’s hard to drop everything to go to an office visit. When you need health care, it’s important to see a provider face-to-face as quickly as possible. Our providers can see you quickly.

Do I need an appointment?
Use our app or web portal to videoconference with a provider. Urgent care appointments are available 24/7 while you will need to find a convenient time slot for a behavioral health care appointment.

Will the provider have access to my medical records?
You can easily upload your medical records to the Virtual Visit app to give your provider access to your medical history.

Can a health care provider diagnose my condition through a virtual visit?
During your consultation, a Virtual Visit provider will determine if a diagnosis is possible or if you need further examination (tests, specialty visit, etc.) just like an in-office visit.

When should I not use virtual visit?
If you have a medical emergency, call 911. Virtual Visit is not for serious or life-threatening conditions.

Can a health care provider diagnose my condition through a virtual visit?

Will I be charged if the provider is unable to treat me?
If a provider is unable to treat you, you will not be charged, and they will refer you for further testing.

Can my provider prescribe medication over a virtual visit?
Yes. Prescriptions are written at the discretion of your provider. Some medications can’t be prescribed virtually. Prescriptions are based on symptoms and your provider’s ability to evaluate your condition over the web. For questions about prescriptions, please call 888-982-7956.
