Resident Life
At our residency program, we have a tradition of caring for one another, supporting each other, and truly becoming a family. While we work hard to learn and grow, we also recognize and place a high value on a healthy work-life balance. Over the course of three years, our residents, who come from a diverse array of backgrounds, become a close-knit group – helping each other through tough times and celebrating each other’s successes. We invite you to meet us and see for yourself!

Residency-Sponsored Social Events
Intern Retreat: Every January, when the winter doldrums have hit, we gather all the interns for a weekend retreat. Interns are excused from all clinical duties for 2.5 days to focus of socializing, team bonding and relaxing.
Residents as Leaders: Our PL-2 retreat is focused on preparing our residents for the new roles they will encounter as a senior resident. Starting with a home cooked meal by the program director, the PL2s move on to problem-solving, team building and career development in a laid-back setting.
Holiday Party: Every December, we gather all the residents to celebrate the holidays and all the hard work they have put in so far. The evening is a great reason to dress up and get into the holiday spirit.
Graduation: Our annual graduation ceremony is a time to celebrate the many accomplishments of our graduating class. All classes are invited and coverage is provided.
