Clinical Research
How does the library advance research?
In addition to assisting families and caregivers, the library helps advance your child’s care through the support of clinical staff. At Children’s Health, decisions informed by evidence and the latest research is a priority. Dedicated clinical research librarians provide many services to accomplish this mission. This includes:
- Doing extensive literature searches.
- Tining on the use of databases
- Consulting on citation management and screening.
- Assisting with systematic reviews
What is Magnet status?
Magnet designation is the highest nursing honor awarded to healthcare organizations. In 2023, Children’s Health received its 4th designation. Magnet designation recognizes and validates our culture of nursing excellence, that quality, service, and patient-centered care are visible and alive in our organization.
The Clinical Research Librarians support the Magnet journey and designation by working closely with nurses as they develop research studies and programs designed especially to further our culture of nursing excellence at Children’s Health.
What is the scholarly repository?
The Children’s Health scholarly repository is a collection of research and archival materials produced by Children’s Health staff. Browse our growing open access to scholarly publications.
